Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. For many years I'd wanted to visit South Carolina and Georgia. February, 2009 found me spending a week in Historic Charleston -- walking daily with my camera, exploring this incredibly beautiful place. This cemetery touched my heart in many ways: the peaceful space, the colors, the wild lushness of the grounds as spring blossomed, the weathered stones. Not another living soul was around -- there was time to simply "be" with my camera, journal and thoughts before I returned to Broad. Cherished memories.
