There are so many "Ah Ha!" moments when I take the time to look and see beyond the labels! So often I would see seagulls without appreciating their beauty: the colors and textures of the feathers, the beak, the legs. The piercing eyes. In flight they're acrobatic and their calls are joyfully raucous.
