Description
Connections ...
Were visting one of my husbands old friends who lives on a small ranch.
Rob owns several horses he wants us to meet so we have walked out to the corral. A cold wind has just brought them from the fields to the barn area ...
in the shelter of the buildings they soak up the Suns warmth, as we do too.
Im not used to being around horses so am a little nervous ... but theyre not skittish.
Such beautiful creatures ... their eyes are gentle and their noses are so, so soft!
I remember ...
When I was about four years old I loved my imaginary horse ... a beautiful grey mare Id named Star because of the white star-shaped marking on her forehead. We were inseparable ... and Time was mine then because I hadnt yet started school. Many mornings I would put a blanket on the verandah railing and boost myself up ... in my imagination I was on Stars back and we were walking down an old trail leading from the house.
She was part of my Life for several years ... and as I played with this image in my family room she returned to me .... through sweet, happy memories Id tucked away so many years ago!
About this photo: I decided to let my imagination play with colors ... hidden colors. Then I thought about energy, vibration ... the world we dont see most of the time. Paint came to mind. Old Paint.
And Gratitude ... for Life and for Imagination.
