Artist's Description
We were sitting in the back yard when the clouds began to build. An hour or so later the winds (up there) began to howl because the clouds stretched and churned. Colors changed, layers developed. Birds in the yard stopped singing, we stopped speaking. I remember hoping there would be no hail damage anywhere. Huge drops of rain began to fall and we took cover in the house.
