I took this photo in the Lake Martin area of Louisiana. We saw an alligator swimming close to shore! Torrential rains had fallen earlier in the day so grasses were soaked and the water's edge was muddy. The air was absolutely still and very humid. Feral cats wandered around but we were the only people there are the time. Truly memorable.
