Second Chance Animal Rescue Society ... an incredible volunteer group. Angel was viciously attacked by the pack of 10 dogs she lived with in a small northern community. Thankfully she was rescued and taken to the Lloydminster Animal Hospital where a skilled veterinarian saved her life. She repaired Angel's torn scalp and throat, she reconstructed Angel's ears (which had been pretty well ripped apart). My husband and I adopted Angel ... she is loving and totally relaxed within our home but is hyper-vigilant when outdoors and so fearful. This poor dog definitely suffers from PTSD .... now we have a glimpse of the trauma that people know too. Thank goodness for Rescue Groups.
